Savanna McDowell has been a physical therapist since 2019. She is licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida through the Florida Board of Physical Therapy. Savanna graduated from the University of Florida in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Science and a minor in Public Health. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in 2019.


Savanna has completed clinical internships in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient acute care/post-operative, neurological rehabilitation and pediatrics. She also has extensive experience in locomotor training for patients recovering from neurological diagnoses (i.e., Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury and strokes). As a pediatric physical therapist, Savanna has provided treatment to children with varying diagnoses including; Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Torticollis, Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays.


Savanna is passionate about creating client-centered treatment to help each child reach their full potential!
